To our All Green
Compost add Santa Rosa loam and crushed red lava rock. This is our
mix perfect for putting in a sod lawn. The high calcium and basic

Nitro Loam
Special order only - 10 yard minimum
This basic mix of
sandy loam and nitro-sawdust is what works best for starting or
re-seeding a lawn. Keep a little to the side, and spread 1/8" or
less over your seeds to keep birds from eating your new lawn seed.
Julious’ Choice Potting Soil

These mixes have been used by nurseries, farmers and homeowners for
years to achieve maximum germination from their seeds and to make
certain their seedlings get a good start in the world. Both
starter mixes are made with a blend of crushed red lava rock, peat moss
and perlite to create the ideal medium for germination. These
soil-less mixes stay moist but also retain plenty of air for the young
roots because the perfect amount of perlite has been added. To

If your project requires an addition of clean composted organic matter, this is the product for you. Harvest Moon Organic Vineyard Compost is listed with the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) for use in organic production. Made from a simple blend of grape pomace, green waste and oyster shell flour. This compost was designed with the vintner in mind. There are no manures or supplemental nitrogen fertilizers added to this high potassium mix. Our aerobic composting technique heats the compost to a minimum of 131° F. ensuring the complete reduction of weed seeds and pathogens. After the composting is completed we screen it through a 1" screen to create a nice texture. This compost will enhance any situation from large landscaping to large vineyard applications where organic matter without the extra nutrients is called for.
All Green Compost

All Green Compost is made from green waste materials i.e. grass clippings, leaves, branches, etc., that landscapers and homeowners bring to us for recycling. We grind these materials, add Urea, Calcium Nitrate, Single Super Phosphate, Iron Sulfate and Oyster Shell Flour and compost them at a minimum 131° F. All Green Compost has a neutral pH and can be used in a wide variety of landscape planting. It's a great soil conditioner to break up adobe/clay soil and provide moisture retention in sandy soil. This is also perfect for preparing soil for new lawn. All Green Compost makes a great top dressing or mulch.

Rhododendrons, Camellias and Azaleas have specific soil and nutrient requirements. Our Rhodie Mix has the low pH and good drainage they need. Designed by a professional nursery, it contains 1/4- and 1/4x3/4 Douglas fir bark and 5/16- crushed red lava rock. Douglas fir bark in all its forms is very beneficial to Rhododendrons. To this base we blend the perfect ratio of these fertilizers: Nitroform, Single Super Phosphate, Dolomite 65, Gypsum and Iron Sulfate. Arbor Mulch

Arbor Mulch is a popular recycled product that is only available at Grab N' Grow. Made from the tree trimmings brought to us by tree services. It primarily consists of soft woods such as pine, alder, fir, poplar, redwood and acacia. We sort the eucalyptus to make a pathway mulch. These woods are sent through an industrial tub grinder to be ground into small pieces that are perfect for mulching around plants. Arbor Mulch is a very attractive ground cover that helps retain moisture in the soil, controls weeds and helps with erosion. This mulch is excellent on a hill side and for high wind areas.

A decorative bark made from Douglas Fir. This is a perfect material for home or commercial uses where a more refined look is desired. Most particles will fall in the 2-3 inch length range and less than half an inch in thickness. The fines have been removed from this product to provide wicking moisture from the soil while still offering all the benefits of mulch.
